  • Marvin Chamberlain, DVM

    Practice Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Chamberlain was raised on a dairy farm in Moses Lake. He graduated from MLHS where he was very active in sports, and is still today a strong supporter of sport groups. He went on to graduate from Washington State University- College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He established Broadway Animal Hospital in 1977, and added an additional practice by the same name in Othello in 2004. Marv enjoys both small and large animals. In the early years a large portion of his time was committed to small animal medicine. However, the demand for large animal veterinarians, especially in the field of dairy herd health, took the majority of his time. Though he still enjoys seeing the large animal patients he has been sending out the new doctors, and letting the “young guns” receive their share of bumps and bruises from the less cooperative large animal patients. With a strong staff behind him Marv has been pursuing more of his hobbies which include horseback riding, camping, white water rafting, and helping with a friend’s annual roundup in the Teton Mountains in Montana. When he’s at home he spends time with his family as well as his 3 Great Danes, and his little cute mutt of a dog, Tick. And occasionally goes horse back riding on one of his many horses.  He is very active in the community and with several veterinary organizations.

Katie is also considering going back to school and become a LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician). Outside of the office Katie likes to watch movies with her kitty cat couch buddy, Macy. She rescued Macy when a local rescue group brought her into the clinic with a severely broken leg, which is now fully healed. If Katie isn’t at home or work its most likely you will find her riding the country side on horse back, grinning form ear to ear.
